As part of the $723.5-million refurbishment construction of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), four new airline lounges have been built to elevate the level of amenities and comfort to international passengers. Located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), the new lounges are based on the airline alliance concept, resulting in the development of one lounge each for STAR Alliance, oneworld Alliance, SkyTeam Alliance, and the fourth one for independent, non-affiliated airlines. During the 16-month construction of the lounges, lounge guests were able to access the temporary lounges while waiting for their flights.
