| In 2005, United Airlines introduced the 'p.s.', the premium transcontinental services between San Francisco (SFO) and New York (JFK) , and between Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK). The p.s. is the reconfigured 757-200 with three classes of service - United First which features 12 lie-flat seats, United Business which has 26 spacious leather seats, and 72 United Economy Plus seats that offering up to 5 extra inches of legroom. |

| First Class cabin is located between aircraft's first door and the second door where passengers enter into the plane. Because of its location, people will not walk through the First Class cabin to the Business Class cabin and the Economy Plus cabin. |

| The seat is spacious and comfortable. The control panel is easy to use. |

| There are laptop power and phone access from every seat. |
|

| Even UA claims it's a 'lie-flat' seat, actually, the seat is slightly angled and not completely flat. People find it a bit hard to sleep in this position because they keep sliding down from the seat. |

| Instead of watching movies from the video screen in each seat, the First Class passengers can enjoy 10 selections of DVDs on the individual handheld DVD players with the noise-reduction headsets. |

| First Class passengers can enjoy the fine dining on all p.s. flights. Besides a selections of fine wine, Champagne, Port and other beverages, two cocktails are featured on board - Bellini & Kir Royale. Bellini is the light sparkling wine mixed with white peach puree, and Kir Royale is the cassis, a dark liquer made with berries from the black currant bush, mixed with Champagne. |
