El Museo de Jamón (the Museum of Ham) 火腿博物館 stores are all over the city selling this world famous Spanish leg of ham.

The Puerta de Alcalá (Alcalá Arch) was ordered built by King Charles III of Spain in 1778.

Located right in the heart of the city in the Plaza de la Independencia Square, it is very near the main entrance to the Retiro Gardens., located at the beginning of the Calle Alcalá.
